CAS-MI Laboratories gains new capabilities to test paints, coatings and polymer products for performance problems or product failures. The recent purchase of a Modulated Differential Scanning Calorimeter, a Q-2000 MDSC, helps CAS-MI Laboratories staff detect curing problems, often the source of improper adhesion or poor resistance to scratches or marring in coatings. Additionally, CAS-MI's Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) now has micro FTIR capabilities, allowing for analysis of small particles in paints, coatings and polymers. Both capabilities reflect CAS-MI Laboratories' commitment to state-of-the-art instrumentation and quality results
