CAS-MI Laboratories is an independent testing laboratory specializing in paints and coatings, plastics and polymers, and adhesives and sealants. Our staff has many years of experience in analytical and physical testing and product formulation, along with a strong background in industrial manufacturing practices and litigation support.

We test both finished products as well as the raw materials used to manufacture them. In addition, CAS-MI's paint and coatings experts can provide formulation services including scale-up assistance and toll production. Formerly known as PRA Laboratories, our facility has been serving the needs of the paints, coatings and printing inks industries since 1943.

CAS-MI offers an extensive list of standard industrial test methods including ASTM and ISO test methods. We also have a catalog of specialized, in-house test methods, or we can develop a custom method just for you.

We help you identify the root cause of your problem and find a solution that is practical, workable and complete.

CAS-MI also provides litigation support and expert witness testimony for legal cases involving intellectual property disputes, patent infringement and product liability.
