New Polymer & Coatings Expert at CAS-MI

Beatrice Benhamida has joined CAS-MI Laboratories and the CAS-MI Innovation Center in the role of Chemist. She earned a M.S. degree in Polymer and Coatings Technology from Eastern Michigan University in 2009, and has worked as a formulation chemist.

"Her background in both analytical chemistry and coatings formulation will be of great benefit to the CAS-MI facility" explains Sean Maggert, Director-Technical Affairs. "She has experience with a broad range of instrumentation, including DMA, DSC, TGA, DCA, SEM, NMR, FTIR, GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, GPC, ICP-AES and AAS. We also appreciate her contribution to our formulation team as we develop new coatings products."

Both CAS-MI Laboratories and the CAS-MI Innovation Center are located in Ypsilanti, MI. This growing company provides services to entrepreneurs and established companies for new coatings product development and analytical support.
